INFANT CPR - For Babies under 1 year
This class is designed specifically for parents of babies from birth to one year. This is a hands-on class that will provide you with the skills and confidence to turn a life-threatening situation into a lifesaving one. This could be the most important class you'll ever take. You will learn:
* Infant CPR
* Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction ( Choking )
* Taxicab and Car Seat Guidelines
* Extensive Baby Safety Tips for use from Day 1 on.
The instructor provides 1 mannequin for every student so that you can have tons of hands-on practice. You will take home various handouts as well.
CHILD CPR - For kids ages 1 - 13
This class is designed specifically for parents of kids ages 1 to 13. Having ambulatory little ones can be nerveracking. With potential dangers lurking around every corner, it is best to be equipped with knowledge of what to do in case of an emergency. In this two hour class, you will learn: CPR for children ages 1 through puberty, how to treat burns, bleeding, falls, and poison emergencies. Basic car seat safety for toddlers will also be covered in the session. Each participant will have his or her own manikin for CPR practice. Additionally each student will leave class with abundant educational literature and a sheet of Mr. Yuk stickers.

Instructor is certified to teach CPR and First Aid through The American Heart Association and The American Red Cross.

Cancellation Policy
We keep our classes small in size and preregistration is required. Most of our classes fill up months ahead. Payment is due at time of registration to reserve your spot. All purchases are considered a final sale.
Refund Policy:
No Refunds given 48 hours after initial registration.
Within 48 hours of initial registration (the time when you book your class not the time when your class is held) a refund will be given minus a $25 administrative fee.
Rescheduling Policy:
If you need to reschedule City Births will try to accommodate (1) one reschedule with 14 or more business day notice at no charge based on availability.
Requested made with 14 business days or less notice there is a $50 change fee based on availability, however request made with five business days or less notice will not be honored and you will have to purchase a new class. Classes booked week of can not be altered or refunded.
City Births is not responsible for refunding or offering credit for classes missed as a result of scheduling changes, travel, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, City Births understands that from time to time schedules change and we will make every effort possible to accomodate an alternative date however due to the small size of our groups we tend to fill up months in advance and have to turn away potential clients when you reserve a spot in our class, we can make no guarantees that that we can accommodate schedule changes.
Requests for exceptions for medical reasons may be made on an individual basis, and must be accompanied by a physician’s or midwife’s written documentation.
City Births reserve the right to cancel classes or alter class times and will issue refunds accordingly. In the event of a re-schedule, every effort will be made to work with students' schedules.
We cannot offer refunds if you miss a class scheduled anytime after your 36th week.
